School for the Blind Every year the Missouri School for the Blind has a Lions Appreciation Night in April. Everyone is welcome to come as long as you are accompanied by a Lion. If you have never been to one you don't know what you are missing. If you get there around 5:30pm you can take a tour of the school before you eat your dinner. The tours run up to 7:30pm but I would get there early. The tours show you what the kids do everyday and how they go about doing it. The dinner is a huge spread, all you can eat and is wonderful. The best part of the night is the presentation that the kids put on. It is so incredible to see what these kids can do that we take for granted everyday. I personally look forward to this event every year and you will too. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for kids under 12. Contact Lion Tim or Lion Jeff for more information if needed.
