One
of our newest members passed away. (Mom) Janet Webb 55, mother of 4 children and grandmother to 3 children passed away Saturday July 19th. Janet is the mother of members Jeff Brawley, Paula Bendel, and Newt (Hotshot) Webb. She was grandmother to future member Tommy Webb and future Leo's Jessica Webb and Heather Webb. Janet became a member of our club this year at our 40th Anniversary Party, but in all reality Janet has been a member of our club longer than any other member of our club. If there was ever anything that needed to be done for our club Janet was one of the first to offer to help. Janet was called MOM or NANNA by more people than there are Smith's in the phonebook. As a club we are trying to give atleast one member a year a Melvin Jones Award and Janet is our newest Melvin Jones member. Janet
will be missed very much! |
